Women's Missionary Society

Strengthening Faith. Serving Others. Transforming Lives.

The Women’s Missionary Society (WMS) of Hurst Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church is a ministry dedicated to strengthening our faith and continuing the ministry of Jesus Christ through service and witness in our church, community, and world.
Through prayer, fellowship, outreach, education, and compassionate service, the Women’s Missionary Society seeks to empower women, nurture and protect children, address the needs of our community, and extend God’s love to those in need. We are committed to being women of faith who not only believe in God’s Word but put that faith into action.
Our ministry embraces the call to empower women, embrace and support the spiritual, mental, and physical development of children, and help eradicate hunger and hardship. We strive to build meaningful relationships, bridge gaps, advocate for those who need a voice, and create opportunities that strengthen families and communities.
At Hurst Chapel AME, the Women’s Missionary Society welcomes women who desire to grow spiritually, serve faithfully, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Lady Angela Clark
Consultant of Women's Missionary

It is my joy and privilege to welcome you to a ministry of faith, service, fellowship, and love. As women of God, we are called not only to grow in our relationship with Christ, but also to extend His love through our words, our service, and our commitment to others.
The Women’s Missionary Society represents a beautiful legacy of women who have answered God’s call to serve, uplift, encourage, and make a difference in the lives of others.
As the Consultant and Lady of the Church, I encourage every woman to discover the gifts God has placed within her and use those gifts to serve His people. Whether through prayer, outreach, fellowship, education, or acts of compassion, every contribution matters, and every act of service can make a difference.
My prayer is that the Women’s Missionary Society of Hurst Chapel will continue to be a place where women are strengthened in faith, united in purpose, and inspired to serve.
