Music & Christian Arts Ministry

Welcome to the Music & Christian Arts Ministry (MCAM) of our African Methodist Episcopal Church. MCAM uses music and the arts to create meaningful worship experiences, encourage spiritual growth, and share the message of Christ. Through singing, instrumental music, dance, drama, and other creative expressions, we seek to glorify God, inspire others, and use our gifts to serve the church and our community.

Meet Minister of Music- Darrel Poiter

Welcome to the Music Ministry of Hurst Chapel AME Church. Our Minister of Music provides spiritual and musical leadership, helping create an atmosphere where hearts are prepared for worship and lives are encouraged through song.
Through music, dance, visual arts, and media arts, our ministry seeks to glorify God, inspire the congregation, and support the overall mission of the church. We are blessed to have a dedicated Minister of Music who leads with faith, passion, excellence, and a heart for service

Divine Dancers of Hurst Chapel

The Divine Dance Ministry is a beautiful expression of worship that uses movement, creativity, and the gifts God has given us to glorify Him. Through praise dance and other forms of movement, our dancers help communicate the message of God’s love, faith, hope, and grace while creating an atmosphere of worship and reflection. With faith, passion, discipline, and purpose, our Dance Ministry seeks to inspire hearts, encourage the congregation, and use the arts as a powerful form of Christian service.
